14th Jaunuary is anniversary of one of epic battles ever fought. The third battle of Panipat is significant in terms of its scale, number of lives lost in single day and the aftermath and its effect on course of history. The battle of Panipat is not only unique for intensity, but the loss of Marathas in this battle left everlasting scar on history of India. In a sense, outcome of this battle changed course of history. It is said that there was not a single family in Maratha empire whose kin was not lost in this battle.
